When an artist removes their music from a platform, the assumption is that relationship ends. The data suggests otherwise.

Mick Jenkins confirmed on record that fan data collected through EVEN, including names, region, purchase history, and email addresses, remains to artists after they remove their music from the platform.

Mick Jenkins confirmed on record that 7,055 fans had opted in on EVEN.

The data does not disappear with the catalog.

Celena Fields, Head of Artist Relations at EVEN, confirmed that the platform does not engage in retargeting after an artist exits, and that the artists retain full data portability rights over what was collected.

What remains unresolved is what EVEN itself retains on the platform side after an artist's departure. That question was asked. It remains open.
